hi. Im 12 and i am 5"6 and weigh 59kg. I ve been doing some weight lifting for the past days and i was scared that it could stunt my growth. I am also doin pushups, situps. And i am not sure about wether i should lift weights. Help?

Hello. I believe that stunting growth due to working out is more of a myth than a hard solid fact. Some people will tell you that it could affect your growth but I don’t think it’s possible. Think about it, you are building your muscles, you are developing right and you are growing. Perhaps even faster than someone who does not work out. If you are really scared about staying short than I suggest you avoid exercises where you have to hold weights above your head. Any other exercises are fine, don’t worry about it.
