I was shocked, to say at least, when I got my medical test results. I am 31 years old, and I am very active in exercises and workout. I go for medical check up every six months and this time, to my surprise – Increased Cholesterol Levels! How can that be? I did gain couple of extra pounds in past few months, but it is nothing serious. Or is it?

It could get serious. Increased Cholesterol Levels, if left like that, could cause many blood vessel conditions that could turn out to be really serious. You have to know that these conditions will not show over night, sometimes it takes years, so for the moment, there is no reason for panic. Probably, your recent eating habits have changed your cholesterol levels. Start with some diet, regulate your weight and do the blood test again in the month. That should help.
