Couldn't find what you looking for?

I was just diagnosed with macronodular and infiltrating basal cell carcinoma on my wrist area (top of arm) directly over a vein. Going to have MOHs procedure done. Worried about the "infiltrating" - like infiltrate what?

Am trying to find out about this too. I have had repeated lesions of what was called invasive basal cell carcinoma on my nose. This type is not common so its hard to find information. It has fine roots that spread deeper and can invade or infiltrate any type of tissue not just skin, including cartilage, bone, lymph nodes, in my case even the brain. Hope you get a better answer than this. I'd say don't wait. In my experience what shows on the surface is only a tiny part of the lesion and can grow fast.
