Mold can cause serious issues for many and that could be your trigger. I have lived in two homes since all this itching began and my reactions have stayed the same. Before moving into our second house, I had it tested for molds, asbestos, formaldehyde. etc and all was clear. Although I truly believe the intense itching on the bridge of my nose and on the inside edges of my eyes is an allergic reaction to something. After many expensive medical tests, I still do not have an answer.

I had six upper teeth capped five years ago and it was about six months later when the itching began. I am on my fifth year of this severe itching. My new dentist is concerned that I am reacting to the glue that my former dentist used. Who knows? I have just started acupuncture in hopes this might help. I have other allergies and reactions going on and am willing to try acupuncture to see if that might help.
I did try the Walmart itch cream that had been previously mentioned but it did not help.

If you wear glasses wash them daily specifically the nose pads and frames with a anti-bacterial cleanser. In about a week you'll see some relief

I have the same thing. It’s intense, rubbed and scratched till it bleeds, yes it’s that INTENSE. Only relief I get is a small ant or cortisone cream Applied with a Qtio and massaged in BEING CAREFUL to not get too close to eye corner. Doesn’t cure it but greatly relieves it.

I don’t color my hair or use a nose rinse.
I’m wondering about what the spectacle’s nose pads are made of…. It’s messing up my skin, too.

I also have the same issue with intense itching on bridge of nose, eyes, neck and wrists. Sometimes areas also get swollen. Certain foods like hot spices can trigger, but the main issue is heat. Clinical names are urticaria and angioedema induced by heat. Best relief has been high ice on areas effected. Also per physician, take oral antihistamines (Xyzal and Montelkast) and by-weekly injections of Xolair. Hasn’t resolved completely and concerned about long term use of antihistamines, but at least I’ve had some relief.

This has been my problem for years now. Started when I was in uni. My doctor prescribed me steroid drops. 2 drops each eye every 4 hours. It helped a bit, I guess, but probably cause I have to restrain myself from rubbing my eyes so the medicine doesn't get wasted. Every time it happens, I get this drunk look and it has caused me a lot of fine lines. Went back to doctor after a couple of weeks. It's eye fatigue from facing too much bright screen and reading in the dark (because college). It causes insomnia as well and then gets worse when you're sleep deprived. Antihistamines work to some cause you get to rest and it eases the itch. But if you have anxiety like me, it only works in short term or not at all. Longer hours of sleep is apparently the most effective cure.
