Cyst on bridge of nose

HI,

For the last 2 years i have had a cyst on the bridge of my nose. Don’t really know how if formed, ive never suffered from acne, never had more than a few spots on my face as a teen, im now 29.

I first went to my doctor with this after having it 1 year, he told me to come back in a year’s time to see what its like. I went back this year has it is still there and prominent. He didn’t want to know, he said the uk nhs system would not remove it for me as they are cutting down on minor operations. He told me if i want it removed, to consult a plastic surgeon, the scarring will be as bad as the cyst already is and that it would cost me around £1200 (thats half the price of a boob job).

He’s really left me down about this. im not much of a vein person, but this is smack bang on my nose, its irritating as it looks like this big mountain from my own eyes view, when reading.

Not only that but im in sales, and i find customers locked onto it watching the cyst instead of me. (Anyone remember uncle buck?)

Can anything be done? isn’t there anything to even just reduce it?
