I had a medical abortion on March 24, 2015. I went back for my two week exam and i was told that the baby was still there. Since I had bad migraines, the doctor wanted me to get the surgical proceure done the next day. I got the procedure done and I was told that I wasn't going to be in much pain but afterwards I was in so much pain that I could barely walk, stand, sit or sleep. I went back to the doctors and they told me that I had blood clots in my uterus. Last Friday I had another procedure done and I was told to wait one week for sex. I've been on birth control since the 29th of March. I was told that I'd be protected but I just want to make sure.

If you are on birth control chances of getting pregnant are minimal, unless of course you skip pills then the chance becomes a little bit bigger.
