Hello! I'm so relieved to find others with this symptom. I felt like the only one. Ok, I always had a regular period from the time they started when I was 12, eventually I decided to take the Depo Provera shot because I felt I would forget to take pills, I was on it two years but stopped after it made me gain about 15 pounds. I decided I would try pills. I didn't have a period for four months after my last Depo shot and during my first month of pills. The first was a regular 1 week period, the next was apparently normal, but one week after stopping, a second period came, I just brushed this off as irregularity due to my recent change in birth control. Then it happened again the next month. And the next. I have no actual during this but during the second period only, I have a pressure-like, pinching sensation over my right ovary only. After about six months of this I was scheduled for my yearly pap and pelvic exam but out of fear my problem was serious I chickened out and didn't tell my Gyno my symptoms. I know that's very ignorant but I was scared. Well anyway my pap, pelvic and STD check all came back perfect which put my mind at ease but then of course this odd symptom cropped right back up. It's been a year now and it still happens twice a month. The first week of the month I'm good and clear, second week the first period happens and exactlyone week after it starts, it stops, the third week I'm once again clear and then the fourth week I start my second period which again immediately stops exactly one week after it starts. My yearly pap is one week from today, and this year I am going to address the problem. I assume I have not developed cancer since last year but who knows? I'm certain it isn't an STD I'm married and have only ever been with my husband sexually and he only with I, we've been together since we were only 13. I'm 20 so I assume I'm too young for early menopause but again who knows? Thyroid problems, especially Hypothyroidism, and endomytriosis run in my family, my mother has both, as well as ovarian and uterine cysts, no cancers though. I'm currently taking the Camilla tablet for birth control in an effort to stop this problem but it's no help at all. My husband and I wouls like to have a baby but I'm obviously not ovulating correctly or probably at all with this happening. Also, I forgot to add this previously, but I've been extremely pale, almost translucent, my entire life and was tested about four years ago and discovered I was borderline anemic and that, that l was what caused my strange coloration. Anyway, my gut insticts are telling me this is either a hormonal imbalance caused by birth control, a cyst of some sort, endomytriosis or a thyroid condition.I'll bringing this issue to my doctor's attention next week, and praying it goes ok and she can fix me up. I want children so I hope that letting this go on so long hasn't permanently ruined my fertility,I'll keep you posted as to what my gyno tells me and perhaps it can help others here as well!

Hi! I am 20. This month I had a period 2 times, and the gap between the first and second one is only 2 weeks. Is it the effect of sex without a condom? Can anyone help me?
