I have noticed that I am not the same all the time. Sometimes I just get by and have feeling that I need to have a gun pointed to my head to force me to work out. On some other days I feel energized and ready to move mountains. So I think that mental training is also important. Do you agree?

Yes, that is right. After all everything we see in this world, buildings, cars, computers, etc. was just an idea in someone’s mind at the beginning. Then he/she transformed it into a matter. Therefore the state of our mind is very important. Every great athlete will tell you that he first visualizes his lift, jump, score or whatever the goal is, in his mind and then starts the actual activity. Without the mental training one cannot expect any serious results. We function as a body and mind, not just body.
