Hello. I’m 35-year-old man. I have beautiful wife but no kids.
My wife and I are trying to get a child for a long time but with no success.
We talked with general practitioner a couple of times to seek any advice on this mater but he only said that we should keep trying because many young couples are having problems with conceiving for the first time but later everything turns out good.
But seamed nothing could help us.
So we took some tests to determine the reason of “our” infertility.
My wife was ok, but doctor found some condition called variocele on my left testicle and he said that this could be the reason of my sterility.
I don’t know anything about this condition and any extra information will be welcome!

I think I could help because I experienced something similar.
First of all, you couldn’t find a “better” reason of your infertility because variocele is totally treatable.
A variocele develops when the valve that regulates blood-flow becomes damaged or defective. Inefficient blood flow causes enlargement (dilation) of the vein.
The veins become bigger and I think the blood sort of gathers and pools in these veins, so heating up the sperm and making it less fertile.
You can't always see any change on your scrotum but, I don’t know did you try to find a blue formation on your testicle?
Operation is about ligation of these big veins so the blood can go in other directions and relieve pressure from testicle.
I wish you luck with surgery and many children after!
