Hi! Did you show these lumpy veins to the doctors? It could have happened that you developed varicocele. Varicocele is a condition in which the veins that carry the blood to your testicles fail and the blood flows in reverse. The blood builds up in the veins and causes them to swell, starch and get bigger. They may appear as a bag of worms above your testicle. It usually happens during puberty as the testicles grow rapidly and need more blood delivered to them. It affects guys from 15 to 25 years of age and it usually happens in the left scrotum. This is because left body flow is greater.
Varicoceles usually don’t cause much trouble but if they are painful or if there’s a swelling, anti-inflammatory meds can be given and if this doesn’t help either, then they could be removed.
The most common symptoms of varicoceles occur during hot weather, after heavy exercise, or after standing or sitting for a long time. The signs are a dull ache in the testicle, heaviness in the scrotum, dilated veins in the scrotum, the testicle appears smaller on the side where the dilated veins are.
Do you fit into any of these symptoms?
