No a yeast infection is not contagious to your male partner, and yes unfortunatly Vaginosis Streptococcus is contagious for your partner. Also, it is not considered an sexually transmitted disease, but just a mere contagious infection. So if you have it, and you and your partner have been engaging in any sex, he or she should also go get the medication for it, and not until your definintly sure should you start having sex again. Meaning, take all ur meds, then go for another check up with your doctor making sure it has gone and passed fully. And is fully treatable, meaning after you take the meds it should not come back. Just make sure it is fully gone, and not to have sex with your partner until you are both sure it is fully cured.
