Hi, i'm 20 years old male and have been sexually active since i was 17. More than a year ago i noticed numerous flesh-colored bumps appeared on the shaft of my penis. They didn't itch or anything, i now have more clusters and some on my scrotum but again... don't itch or anything so i'm fairly confident they're penile (sebaceous) cysts, right ?

My main concern, a month ago i was sleeping with this girl. After intercourse, i had some residue on my scrotum ( probably from the condom lubricant and vaginal secretions) I wiped it off, but noticed my scrotum was increasingly itchy an hour later. This happened again, then for the rest of the week my scrotum was red with what appeared to be a rash, and interrupted sleep for about 2 nights. (i wasn't too concerned it was an STD b/c it seems they take a few weeks to appear and this seemed pretty cause & effect) It eventually became somewhat scaled and flaked skin off and is now fine. It itches occasionally but not severely. A small red rash appeared on the line where my left leg meets my scrotum. It had a somewhat pungent small... it's not red anymore but i think the smell is there which leads me to believe it isn't fully gone. I also feel as if my breathe has been getting worse since then and random areas of skin on my body have become increasingly itchy time to time. It seemed to me that male yeast infection seemed like the most probable cause. i tried the saliva in a cup of water and mine seems to form a small cloud almost. (not sure how reliable that so called "test" is.)

Thank you and any ideas, suggestions, reassurances would be helpful.

This could be HPV or more commonly know in the past as Genital Warts. So many girls have this now that it is considered common now in the medical community. a sure fire tip off is if the "bumps" look almost cauliflower like. These bumps can be easily frozen off a mans genital area, but are almost impossible to completely remove all the bumps from a women due the the very hospitable environment the vagina provides...

or if you have Fluid-filled blisters that form painful sores on the genitals, anus, thighs, or buttocks... This would/could be full blown Herpes.

One of the easiest ways to diagnose a typical cyst is: Most cysts will start out as a hard lump. This is caused by your immune system sending white blood cells to attack a simple infection. This lump can be "moved" a little so as not to be mistaken for a tumor or cancer. the lump will often grow a bit and can range from a small pea size all the way up to the size of a large grapefruit. you must remember that your bodies primary goal is to get the "foreign object" out of the body. So typically, following the past of least resistance and due to the building pressure the cyst will start to "weep" out of a sweat gland or existing blackhead site. these cysts can produce a small "sack" that can become infected again and again (as few as a few times each year, or as many as several times each month. Removal of the cyst sack may require a surgical removal or in some cases sufferers are able to remove the sack themselves. (This can not be medically recommended). The key to insuring that the cyst will not reform is to have it removed or drained and to pack the hole with packing material so as to keep the top part open so it mat heal from the bottom up so the void will not be able to host infection again.
