i had a perinal plasty in aug. this year. she did not cut the whole thing off just the bottom. it is very expensive even when insurance helps. it cost 7,000.00 and i have to pay 5,000.00 mine was due to a very bad tear when ihad my son 2 yrs ago. let me just warn you all about the pain and recovery. it was worse than my 4th degree tear. alot of stitches so they itch very bad while healing. it is healled but still tender at the very bottom. i am overall happy because that excess skin got in the way of little things, like walking around nude.. and sitting on it funny and it pinching. it has not changed sex or the things my body does to get ready for sex. i was always very embarresed by my large labia and now i feel better.

depends on how much it bothers you. it is very expensive. like 6 thousand dollars!! i am still not 100% pleased with the way it looks but it feels better, when i walk around nude. LOL and nothing is getting pinched. it has not affected sex or anything like that sooo, its up to you. oh, the recovery is terrible!!
