Jones Fracture 4.5 weeks ago. Presently having aching and burning feeling in foot

Was in splint first week.  Went to surgeon 2nd week placed me in an air cast NWB.  Went back at 4 weeks was told Fracture healing and I could start placing weight on foot.  Tried in office had increased pain at fracture sight. Was then told to NWB for next 2 weeks n come back in 4 weeks.  Presently have aching n burning feeling in foot.  Going for a second opinion on Monday.  Asked about PT MD said it was unnecessary.  All literature states NWB for at least 6 weeks.  Been taking vit D n calcium. Confused and am getting increasingly depressed.   B
