I broke my foot on Aug. 6th and had to have it casted (up to my knee). Since I have no health insurance & money was an issue, at a little over 6 weeks I took the cast off myself (today to be exact...it's Sept. 24th). I didn't know until after that I was supposed to do certain exercises and wear a boot until my muscles build back up (not to mention the x-ray I should have to make sure it healed completely). So now here I am, no boot, no more cast, and I'm terrified I'm going to break my foot again. My calf has very poor muscle tone (feels very weak) and my foot is still weak. I can't seem to find a website on what types of exercises to do to build up my muscles. Does anyone know of any sites?

I know that it might be a little foolish but you need to go see the doctor again. I know tha tmoney is an issue, but even if we were to find the specific exercises you need to do, we have no way of knowing if those are the specific exercises that YOU should do. we don't even know if you healed properly yet! Can you let me know how it goes? Are you going to see a doctor?
