I have a bad knee, the xray shows no cartlage between my left knee. I do not want any surgery. I have started doing exercises with a lady from Canada and she is a good walker and motivator. I cannot keep up with her because of pain in my knee. I wear a knee support and it helps some. Is there some helpful exercises that I can do without further hurting my knee?

I know your pain and lack of cartilage issue. I never found a workout solution because the knee would swell every time and be in pain. No cartilage means no buffer for the bones and ligaments. Get a really good knee brace and wear it more, not just for exercising. This solved 90% of my issue. My other option is surgery and I am holding off as long as possible.
