I had 3 shot treatment has really helped my pain and the burning is better in my knee. I need a replacement but trying to avoid it as long as possible because of the health insurance. I'm not cured with injections but my pain level is a lot better.

Good to hear. I've put off total knee replacement surgery and want to try the injections first. I know I need the surgery at some point , but would like to put it off as long as possible, I'm 57 and would have to take months to heal from the surgery so the shots seem like a good choice at this time for me.

I put off having my knee replaced also. Sorry I did. Start looking for a doc who does computer navigated minimally invasive. Mine uses Stryker products. You can go to their website and search for docs who use there products. My surgeon does only knees and only minimally invasive totals. I had the surgery, was up and walking that night with a walker. Went home 2 days later. Started outpatient PT on 3rd post op day. Went back to work at 3 weeks. I am now 11 weeks post op. I have a stationary bike that I am now using 20 minutes or more per day with resistance. The only thing I can't do is squat and probably never will be able to. You must know that I waited so long my quad muscle was almost non existent. I took alot of work to get it strong again. I need to have my other one done. We are stalling by having injections as I need to build up my sick time. As soon as I have enough I'll have it done.
