im not sure where to start or where to post this. for about a week now, i have had to use the bathroom more than usual. i'm not one to pee a lot. now it's like, when i have to go, it comes all of a sudden and i have to go then! my period was supposed to start 5 days ago, and it's still not here. about a week ago i had a pain in my stomach that was about 3 inches above my belly button (kind of over to the left side, not directly above). my mom told me that it was probably gas because we were on vacation and i was eating differently than i do at home.

i'm not sure if the pain in my stomach ties to this at all, it has since gone away after about hurting on and off for 3 days.

but im scared that i may have diabetes. i am 5'7 and 215 lbs. not happy with my weight, but i can't seem to lose any. for years now, i have always developed "boils". i have gotten them since i was in elementary school, basically on the inside of my thighs. they went away and i started getting them under my arms. and just recently, i got more on my thighs and one on my stomach (this one has not went away and i have always applied prid to make them shrink, and its doing nothing). it's not bothering me much anymore. for a while it was very sore and has since developed a scab over it. i guess it's healing but im not sure.

do diabetes make you miss a period/cause a late one? i am 20 years old and not sexually active.

I googled and found this.. I know Diabetes can cause missed/ late periods, but none of your other symptoms are those of a diabetics.
I am 20 yrs old, 5'10.5" 124 lbs, not sexually active and have had upper stomach/ lower abdominal pain for about a month and my period is now ten days late. Maybe it's a common thing?

In conclusion, I think you are fine. Although, you should try to eat healthier or you MAY develop Type 2 Diabetes soon.
