Left side tingling and numbness in hand and foot and some ti

This is the prognosis, I woke up in February of 2009 and had numbess in my left hand and foot. Called the doctor they say go to emergency, you could be having a stroke. I go, sit for 12 hours, my blood pressure 250/145 They do not understand why I am still standing. A symptomatic, they say, No headaches, no blurred vision, just the numbness.
Get medication for hig blood pressure, and a statin for the ticker and cholesterol. All is under control, no more high blood pressure, and on an aspirin regimin. Hand and foot and sometimes upper leg thigh area and eye socket all on left side still exactly or even worse than it was the day I woke up with it on that morning in February. It is October 25th 1:37AM and I am typing this because the tingling and numbness are so bad i cannot sleep. I have combed this and other websites for answers on why but all i see are people asking questions why and seemingly no one has an amswer.
I do not have Lymes desease, nor fibermyalgia, I doubt it is Lupus or an STD or Multiple Sclerosis that I have seen metioned in similar thread topics. I haven't a clue! I have tried Lyrica and vitamin B 6 , 12, and eating right mostly vegetable based diet, no refined sugars, excersize, no longer smoke nor drink. But good Lord! This is driving me crazy! all I want is a cure I cannot do anything i cant stand to long nor sit too long, hardly can sleep and when i do it is because i am so tired I basically pass out for 4 to 5 hours. It is so bad the stress it puts on my body everyday all day cannot be good.
All I want is an answer, I mean my doctor seems to think a TIA? I don't know something with having a mini stroke of sorts, he thinks it will go away, but its been 9 months of torture so far i really can't bear it I sit here with my face and hand on fire tingly and feeling genrally messed up. I just want to feel better again, and whatever it takes I mean if it will make me feel better or at least make it so I an sleep a full night again, which i have not done since this came on 9 months ago. Anyone! Please, help!
