Several years ago (approx. 3) I tripped during a difficult backpacking trip. When I fell, I turned my knee clockwise in a ditch, and it hurt for about a week, though no real issues with walking.
However, in the past year I've noticed that in the same spot, whenever I attempt to sprint, it causes that same spot to have a burning pain as long as I am still standing. It forces me to limp a lot, and causes me to fail or barely pass my weekly mile runs in PE.
It has been very annoying, and I'm wondering if that I should get it seriously checked, and if it's jsut temporary, or am I going to deal with this for a long time to come?
