For the past week or so I have had small spots of brown blood either in my underwear or when wiping. I've been on the depo injection for almost three years now with no periods (yay!). I've also been getting sort of twitching sensations in my uterus which I've had for a while. Back aches too. Today there was a tiny brown clot when I wiped. Any idea what could be causing this? I did pregnancy tests a few months ago which were negative but I took it anyway because I felt just like I did when I was pregnant before.

It's really not great for a female to NOT have periods, causes problems with the hormones, things like injections and implants are also lethal and cause hormone imbalances and can cause permanent infertility, a lot of women choose to stay away from them because of this and blood clots is one issue from contraceptives, can get blood clots from taking the pill over a more long-term basis but with injections and implants it can happen a lot faster because of how strong they are, judging from the tiny brown clot your probs starting to get blood clots which isn't great, a lot of women even try not to be on the pill because they are MUCH stronger these days. not having periods also causes a lot of funny symtoms and from experience from having PCOS, when i see any brown blood i take that as a indication my body tried to go on a period but didn't quite make it there, i've had weird pinching/twitchy feelings around my ovarys too and sometimes all of a sudden i start getting achy feelings like you would on your period and feeling a bit tired, has gone on for up to 2 weeks because i get zero periods now, and it's the worst when i DO get a period, couple months after my body is confused and doing back flips trying to go on a period, so any weird pitches or whatever is just what happens when your body is confused as to why it can't start a period.
