Lots of blood and large clot urinating after ejaculation.

I am STD free. This happens everytime I have sex and recently, when i am alone taking care of myself, there appears to be traces of blood in my ejaculation and when I urine, there are blood clots. I have gone to the urologist and i get no answers to or resolutions. I was prescribed finasteride usp 5mg. I have been on it for 60 plus days and no positive results.

This has been happening to me on and off for 20 years. When this happens I take an aspiring, wait 15 minutes and drink a lot of water. It helps,a lot. Also, relax. The clots will just shoot right out. The longer you strain the worse it gets. I know its,hard not to panic. Just know that this happens to others. You are not alone.

I've also had this problem for over 10years, no definite cause. Have been treated for varicose veins around the prostate - didn't help. Used to go in for BDSM/rough ball play during sex but stopped that in case it was related.

When you've got the cots and have trouble clearing them, lean forward, bending with your butt stuck out until your chest is almost horizontal (you might have to position yourself as if you were about to sit to pee, but hold in place just before sitting down) - the urine can flow as the clots float away and don't block it until the end. Try to flush them out by standing up when you've got a good flow going.

Whether you had an ejaculation or not if you see blood coming from that area go to a urologist to have it checked. I have had some blood in my ejaculate twice which is somewhat normal (as in a very small capillary tube down there rupturing) as long as it clears up, However in 2010 I was urinating a lot of blood. They suspected two causes and mine turned out to be the more serious of the two; a kidney tumor. I lost that kidney but am alive and well today almost 9 years later. Just don't delay as that can have a worse result than going to a doctor and putting up with his invasive tests and procedures.
