? I have a very painful swollen lymph node starting below my L ear and down my neck. It is painful to swollow and look up and at times it is as big as a golf ball. At night it seems to go down and it is not as painful. After I am up an hour or 2 it gets worse and then continues thru the day until I rest again. This started 2 weeks ago and is getting worse. I also had this same thing about 10 weeks ago and took antiobotics and steroids for it and that did seem to help. I am worried it may be more than an infection since it is recurring (3rd time total in 8 months) Otherwise I am ok, had a low grade fever a couple times with it, but it is painful and I want to hear others opions on it. I do have a dr appt in a few days, but wondered if I needed to get in faster than that or if I need a biopsy. TIA for any replies.
