2 Weeks ago I noticed a slightly swollen lymph node on the lower right side of my neck. It was soft and movable, didnt hurt and you couldn't see it, only feel it. I didn't worry about it much then, but felt it occasionally to make sure. It didn't change much in size for 5 days but then it started to get bigger for a few days, the skin near it felt hot, and it hurt a little at times. I then noticed two other ones on top and below the original one, and they were now visible if I tilted or turned my head to the left. They have grown little or none over the last few day and don't hurt, but still feel warm. I am scared that this is lymphoma. I don't think the lymph nodes are meant to feel soft or movable with lymphoma, but i'm still scared, because I do not have any symptoms of infection, other than a series of weird headaches and a slightly sore throat a few weeks ago. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have had the same problem, minus the headaches and the node getting bigger. I have been petrified and people just laugh it off and say I'm ok. I am too scared to go to the doctors. It's a soft, rubbery swollen lymph node on the right side of the lower part of my neck.(Cervical Lymph node) I've looked it up and all I keep seeing is cancer. My Mom said that if I am that worried that I should go and schedule a physical for myself; that was two weeks ago. I'm sure it's nothing, because I have read that if it's cancerous, it's hard and it "roots" itself to something and you can't move it around like I can do with mine. Mine wasn't sore at first, but now I touch it all the time, because of my paranoia and it's getting just a little bit bigger because of me touching it. I talked to my cousin who is a nurse and she said it's most likely due to an infection/cold of some sort. When I noticed the node, everyone but me in my house was sick with a cold, so I'm guessing you are just trying to fight off an infection. Good luck with everything, I know exactly how you feel right now. God Bless.

I was cooking and in a matter of seconds my mouth, only the left side, started feeling like it was cramping. My tounge hurt the worst at first, a small bump appeared under my tounge. My left lymph node under my chin is swollen and is very painful. It hurts to swallow, but again only on the left side. My tounge is still sore but most of the stinging pain has moved to my lymph node. The thing that was weird is that it happened out of nowhere very fast. The only thing I can think of is on the other side of my mouth I have an open sore on the top of my mouth. Is there any chance of it going away by itself? I hope so because I cannot afford to go to the doctors.
