I’ve been suffering from gastrointestinal problems for several years now and even though I’m only 21 I have already been diagnosed with colon inertia and pelvic muscle floor dysfunction. As far as colon inertia is concerned, because I’m far too young for colon resection, I’ve been practically having bowel movements only with the help of an enema and that might have contributed to weakening of my pelvic floor muscles. But, I’ve been reading online about potential supplements and vitamins that might help me with these conditions and most people mention magnesium supplement as a must-do thing if you have pelvic floor problems. I haven’t found any reliable research on the subject and everyone seems to be taking different amount of magnesium, so any advice in this matter would be very helpful.
