I used to get boild through adolescence....the first one my mother helped and squeezed the pus out and my upper lip swelled right up.....i had a second one some time later and my mates mother helped me.....basically...a piece of gauze with germoline on....she said come back tomorrow...it will draw the pus to the surface and create a head.....the next day...she took it off and it had already burst....a clean dressing and more germoline and it drew it all out....clean as a whistle...no scar and no pain...to this day i love the pink colour and smell.

Mix with GLYCERINE. to make a paste. Will not dry out.

Magnesium sulphate paste is a "drawing" application that works on small boils etc. It is very effective. Check the Boots website for information on its use. Personally I have no confidence in homeopathic medicines - there is, as far as I'm aware, no peer reviewed research to indicate they work any more than a placebo.

Yes I have used Magnesium Sulphate on boils for years, very soothing and draws them out and bring to a head quickly. When the boil bursts it can be a bit messy but the relief is wonderful!:-|
