I noticed a mole that was not there before in my anal area, and I am now worried about malign melanoma. Is it possible for a person to develop malign melanoma in areas that have not been exposed to the sun? I know that melanomas are caused by the sun, so hence the question. I am very worried, so please hurry up with the answer if you can. I do hope I am worrying about nothing!
