Motor oil wont cause a bacterial infection because nothing could live in motor oil, that doesn't mean u should use it. Motor oil contains metals, inks, dyes... stuff u can get Heavy metal poisoning from trans-dermaly( excessive skin contact) which can cause anything from a serious skin rash to fever and even organ damage which in severe causes could be fatal, and yes there have been instances where people who handle motor oil a lot have gotten sick from it. so i can't stress enough don't use motor oil. Great for lubricating cars not people
