I apologize for intruding on your forum, but I am a reporter in need of help.
I am adoing a freelance healthcare story for the Wall Street Journal about women over the age of 45 who find themselves pregnant unexpectedly, despite starting down the road towards menopause (they have been skipping periods). The story I am writing is about recommendations from some doctors that women entering perimenopause continue using birth control. Unexpected and unintended pregnancies in women over 45 are rare. But they do happen. Does anyone out there want to tell me their story?

Thanks for your time.
