Metzger Pineapple Products

I hope you get your shipment. I sent my check for order on 7/11 to Metzger Pineapple Products, 204-37th Ave. North, Unit #428, St. Petersburg, FL 33704 (no such company located at this address); never received shipment. Called 1-888-573-2929 on 8/8 and was told items shipped 7/23 via ordinary mail by male who answered hot line. Was told they would reship, but I told them I would wait a couple more days. When I called back on Monday, 8/13, I was told they shipped via UPS on 7/23. I asked for tracking number and was told, "there is not always a tracking number for certain items being shipped." (THIS IS A LIE, there is always a UPS tracking number. Girl I talked to felt intimated and put another person on the line. she told me they were shipped ordinary mail 7/23. I asked her to reship, and was told they would have to investigate status of previous shipment before new shipment could be made. I asked her when that would be, and she could not tell me a date. Told me to call back in about a week to see if re-shipment had been made. Told her I was the customer, and she could call me and let me know shipping details; said she did not have ability to make callbacks. GOT VERY SUSPICIOUS. Pulled my cancelled check and saw phone number on back of check 973-489-4825, Totowa, NJ. Traced # and found it is a Verizon Land Line from Paterson, NJ.; location of phone Haledon, NJ. Go to www.ripoffreport.com and I think you will find more information on this scam. Different scams but same phone number being used for various ripoffs. I am going to call back today and request that they make me a refund since the girl I talked with yesterday asked if I wanted a re-shipment or a refund of product. NOW, for sure, I'm asking for a refund and seeing where this goes next. Will also put my story on www.ripoff.com. Please warn others of this scam. I've kept all the mailings I was sent and intend to turn them over the the local FBI for interstate commerce violations which I believe may be a Federal offense.

I threw away my mailer after reading these prior posts.
Please if anyone still has there mailer check out this website and follow instructions near the bottom to report this fraudulent company. With more reports of misleading and irresponsible advertising like this some of it will cease to reach our mailboxes.

I also got the ad and called to order using a credit card. I paid additional $7 for quick shipment and received the product in 5 business days. I have been taking the product for 4 days. Will post any results.

looked up some info about unripe pneapples and came up with lipase a digestive enzyme that breaks up the fats in your body . i ordered the pills already and really want them to work so feedback is vital %-)

:O After ready lot's of bad and good comments about the pineapple pills I decided to try them myself. I figured I had nothing to lose because they offer a refund if it doesn't work.
So here is my log.
Week One :
Lost 10 pounds believe it or not, Although I started walking too, so who knows if that helped.
Week 2 :
Slower week, lost 6 pounds.
Week 3 :
Lost 7 pounds.
Week 4 :
Only lost 3 pounds.

I am now starting week 5. I don't know why week 4 was so slow, maybe at first I was losing water weight.
As for side effects, I can't say I had any apart from occasional leg cramping (due to a lack of water) and a bit of a head ache the first couple days.

All in all, im still really happy I have lost over 25 pounds!!

Has anyone had success yet ot is it a waste of money? Please inform.

I am worried because I am young with 2 children and I have been gaining weight fast. This ad came to me through the mail and I just put my order few days ago. Some of you say things about this product that makes me worried and do not want to lose my money again. Every time that I buy a product is around $70 and I am getting tired to throw my money.

Have anyone have been success with this product for real?
I am excited to try it but I little disappointed with some of your experience.

My mom and I ordered the product and took it for a month. We didn't lose anything, but did experience gastro-intestinal upset. We sent back unused product and received a very nice letter along with our refund check. Although the product didn't work for us, I hope others that might 'experiment' with this will have better luck. At least we did receive our refund. Thanks!

Today is Weds., Aug 29. I just received my flyer and again, like several other notices I have received, sounds too good to be true. I am very skeptical but I would like to lose that extra 35 lbs. I'm carrying around.

On the plus side: I do know that pineapple is a natural diuretic and can help you to burn fat. That is a proven fact. As far as eating UNRIPE pineapple, I would suggest checking on websites such as WebMD or speaking with a dietician. Do you eat any other fruits or vegetables that are unripe?

On the bad side: The flyer includes a page from Dr. Kyle Jones who answers your questions about this pineaple super fat-melter. I checked the AMA (American Medical Assoc.) website and there is no doctor by this name in NY, NJ or FL. Also, who is this Joann Metzger anyway? I did a Google and Yahoo search on her in NY. If this is such a breakthrough then why isn't she on a web search. No records.

If anyone else is having luck, please let me know. In the meantime I will check with my Homeopathic doctor and find out more about this secret "enzyme" in pineapple.

I rec'd the subject tablets on wed 8-15-07. Have been taking them 1, 2, and sometimes 3 times/day. No results. However, for anyone else out there reading this, I also have medical hypothyroidism & type 2 diabetes. Whether that combo is an issue with results, after 2 full weeks... not one budge on the scales. I am contemplating sending back for FULL REFUND, with all the necessary paper work.

To all those who have posted on this subject. I rec'd tablet bottles on wed 8-15-07. I have used them 1, 2, 3 times/day for 15 days. I have had NO weight loss benefits show up on the scales. Medical issues are hypothyroidism and Type 2 Diabetes. I called after 1 week & asked the same question as I saw in couple of the posts. I was told you have to wait longer, and some people don't have any benefits until they have used the product for at least 3-4 weeks. The advertisement said you would see immediate benefits. "I promise." I am contemplating sending this product back for the full refund that they say I have, along with my bank verification of posting, to make sure I get credit. Very disappointing, to say the least.

I used to work a job online from home and took orders for a cream for people with dermatitis. We took all kind of calls and my boss was in ny and I live in nc. They probably were not very familiar with the product (the person you were speaking to) When a small business owner gets started, they normally use an answering service to take there calls and the information you get is sometimes limited on the products people are calling in about. It probably is not a scam just uneducated sales reps
