Hey everyone, I really suggest you save your money. About 4 months ago I got an ad through the mail about a slim and detox patch that you just slap on and it burns off all this fat... so I ordered it for my mother in law and when I recieved it I became suspicious b/c they just looked like bandaids. The address they claimed was their office turned out to just be a post office box to pick up people's money. I only got the address of the distributor b/c I called my credit card company and retrieved the info. I was lucky and got my money back...anyways, now that I am in their database, these con artists are sending me something every month about weight loss pills or patches or powders. Everytime I Google the product I come up with nothing except these kinds of websites. They are ripping people off. Please save your money or at least try to research it thouroughly. Once you buy one thing from them they will continue to send you junk. Beware!!! I believe this Metzger pineapple is the same thing! It has the same sort of lettering style as all the other ads I recieved. I've even written a letter to Oprah to try to get her to investigate this b/c these people are scamming thousands of people by preying on their insecurities about their weight!!! We have to try to stop them!!!! Please follow suit and write letters to Oprah Winfrey for support. If anyone can do something its her!!!! Good luck guys!!

Being a certified nutritionist, I always tried to eat well and take care
of myself and also having a thyroid problem (hypo) I was doing everything
to try to keep my weight in check..worked really hard on diet and exercise
tried the usual low fat, no fat, high fat, no carbs, lots of carbs, etc.etc.
Here is the scoop,, I now weigh 129 pounds, down from 159 pounds in just

I also received the ad for the pineapple enzyme weight loss pills. I just returned three months worth of "Miracleburn" because in an entire month of taking the pills I did not lose a single pound!!" It makes me question my own common sense. After all, if there truly was a "miracle" weight loss product, wouldn't our doctors be the first ones to prescribe it for us? Another thing: the photos in the ad, plus other information about those who supposedly lost weight: I didn't see anyone in the 55 plus age group. I am 66 and taking estrogen blockers after having breast cancer. My Oncologist told me that "nothing" would get the weight off me, not even diet and exercise. Very discouraging but it's even worse when these scammers give us false hope and take our money.

I think that is a fake post. Someone from the company probably found out about the topic on the forum so they wanted to come online and post that some random person lost the weight.
I don't mean to be negitive but none of these things work. I think people (including myself) are just lazy in changing their lifestyle. No one wants to control their eating habits or to start exercising so we expect some miracle pill to help us.
I guarantee that if someone out there actually found a legitimate way/product to lose weight, they would give that information away for free cause they would know how other people battling with their weight feel. Everyone's just looking for a quick way to get rich while hurting others along the way.

As to the grapefruit juice - I LOVE it, but it should be taken before you eat anything, otherwise it will taste sour. Try ruby red grapefruit from Texas (fresh) or bottled juice "Florida's Natural Ruby Red" from the supermarket (I think most Wal-Mart groceries carry it.) NO, I am NOT associated with any of these - I am RETARRED!) Pineapple juice is too sweet for me.

and thanks so much for tyour info about the pineapple tablets, i used them, and have to this day saw no significant change. but one person wrote about throat irritation, i have deffinately had that and still have it to this date. i sent the bottles back and am still waiting for my refund it has been 3 weeks so far.so if considering this product don't be fooled like i was.

I received this flyers just recently and would like to try it for me and my fiancee....am afraid that it will control his watering time, just like some other diet pills/gels, he feels some irritation and uncomfortable. If it works with you guys then no reason to stop trying it. I hope Joanne Metzger will have her website...

After reading everyone's posting -- I've come to the conclusion that the only people that are/were losing weight - were those who were doing some other sort of activity (ie.. dieting, exercising etc..) The ad reads that you don't have to change your lifestyle.... drinking more water, watching what you eat IS changing your lifestyle!!!! I have tried losing weight and I can say that I did lose 25 lbs in 6 weeks with the Michael Thurman 6 week program, (Due to an injury, I was unable to do the exercises which makes me think I could have lost more) ...... the problem ---- YOU MUST CHANGE YOUR LIFESTYLE!!! Needless to say, I gained it back..... can't seem to give up my salt and sugar forever..... I've thrown away the pineapple ad.... am trying a new "vitamin/nutrient" regiment -- if it works out, I'll post again. Good Luck everyone in the never ending endeavor to lose weight!!
