Hello. I am a 32 years old woman and I would to learn more about dementia. I know that older people are affected by it, and I am particularly interested in mild dementia. How is it different from a regular one? My late grandfather had Alzheimer's disease and I remember that it was horrible. Anyway, if you have the time, answer these questions.

As you know dementia affects the person's memory, ability to communicate, think properly, carry out daily activities. It is a progressive brain disorder. Mild dementia is just what the name says. It is a less intense form of dementia. In this form of dementia, person can carry out usual daily activities, but the disease affects his/hers social activities and interactions.
