I cannot seem to find a dose of miralax that works effectively. Too little has no effect at all. A large does causes gas, and each time I pass gas I have a small BM which is very thick and pasty. Sometimes I don't even know it until I am using the bathroom and find it on my bottom. I currently take 4-6 stool softeners a day and use glycerin suppositories. I have had a back injection at L5S1 for a pinched nerve and was wondering if that made a severe constipation problem an intolerable problem

I am not into Miralax in relieving constipation because of the side effects it always bring. Take an herbal supplement like what we did and we found this Digestic from Mimonis that helps our family in fighting constipation. We are all relieved from this constipation and we want to share it to help others who are suffering constipation also.
