I had the mirena coil put in December 2013 I had no problems with it until January 2017 when every month or every second month I've been getting bad UTIs. I haven't been to the doctor to ask is it the coil yet but it makes sense that it is since I never had any bladder or kidney problems before. I thought they were from sexual intercourse but I always pee and my partner is clean. I didn't even have sex over the last week and I woke up with a nasty infection this morning. These side effects need to be acknowledged
