Hi I've recently started prozac (a month) and also ttc. On 20 mg..Just wondering if you had any success yet ttc. My periods are normally regular but now 2 weeks late.

I just started taking Prozac and I am taking birth control. I am having this same problem, my period is 4 days late now and I’m debating on taking a pregnancy test because I’m not sure if it has to do with this medication or not.

This is exactly what happened to me when I stopped taking Prozac, over 6 years ago. I have never had a period without taking birth control pills since. It is beyond frustrating and I have no doubt in my mind that the two were linked. No doctor has believed me either.

THIS happened to me in November 2020... i had the most HORRIFIC period ever. 2 days after starting prozac i had cramps so bad like i was in labor and huge clots and a super heavy flow.

I started Prozac (fluoxetine) 3 days before my period was due and then it did not turn up. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. Do you think my period did not turn up due to Prozac?
