What would you think is the illness when a person has a momentary
darkness in both eyes, then sight gets normal again. Later on, headaches (bad ones) start to occur, beginning in the right rear neck -- two or three a week. Vision in right corner of right eye not perfect, but not completely gone...YET. I am in terror after hearing if you have had one TIA, you are nine times more likely to have a full scale stroke. ??????? What does it
sound like I have had?

Have you had a TIA before? From your post it sounds like you have.
Your symptoms do fit that of a TIA but it could be other things.
How's your blood pressure? Cholesterol? Any history? Recent trauma or illness?
I don't want to even guess. You need to get this checked out and soon. If you are experiencing TIA's then there are things that can be done to prevent a stroke. There are medications that can reduce the risk to you and also surgery if it is needed to open arteries.
You don't need to be in terror of the unknown. Go and get it checked, please.
Good luck and let us know what they find.

Hi I have read somewhere that if symptoms occur such as perception of wavy or jagged lines or tiny specks of light and if a headache occurs, this can be an atypical migraine presentation. Did you have anything like this? Maybe it doesn't have to be TIA.
But as I know aspirin can be used as a medication to prevent TIA.
