Hi, I believe that my wife had mini stroke or TIA. What are chances for young people to have TIA and to have it repeatedly?

Transient Ischemic Attack or TIA is commonly referred to as a mini-stroke. In TIA symptoms suddenly appear. Patients experience loss of sensation, movement, speech, mental function or vision which can last for minutes, or hours. The reason for these symptoms lies in deprived supply of oxygen-rich blood to the brain. This condition should be taken a warning sign for stroke. Narrowing or blockage in carotid artery may be the cause of TIA symptoms. If you have any of stroke signs you need to immediately have it checked by doctor, to estimate your condition and prevent any further damage.
