Hi!
I've just had a mouth biopsy ( under my tongue ), I have 5 stiches. The doctor made the biopsy because he saw a white spot and thinks that it may be cancer. But my question is : he didn't give any medication for the pain , he told me that there would be none. Wrong. Very wrong! I can't talk, it hurts to much and its the same thing when I swallow. And I have all the right side of my face ( the side of the surgery ) that hurts like hell, its giving me a big headache. I've tried ibuprofen and acetaminophen but it doesn't work very well. What should I do?
Thanks for answering,
Galadrielle

Hi Galadrielle, if you are still feeling pain after surgery, you need to talk to your doctor! If there is a lot of pain then he should have prescribed you something and if you are feeling pain, you need to get some medication for it right away. I know that he will probably prescribe you something if you just ask. Have you talked to your doctor yet? Please talk to him asap and let us know.
