My 12yr old cat suddenly lost condition, over 3weeks, he didn't grow any winter coat, he slept a lot, although continued to eat and drink, he drank a lot more water than usual. He always purred when having a cuddle, even on the morning he passed away. After reading signs and symptoms of cat diabetes, he ticked most of the symptoms. I am devastated over his passing and just put his condition down to old age..please re assure me that my beloved cat died peacefully. When I found him, his little face looked peaceful even had a slight smile
