I was diagnosed with cysts in my left armpit and breast a week ago. I still don’t know if it is tumour or not. I am waiting for some lab tests results. There are 3 cysts, palpable, and they are painful to touch. I think that cysts caused by cancer are usually not painful. I’m 38 years old. I don’t want to panic as long as I don’t have final result.

I was diagnosed with fibroid cyst 3 years ago; it was in my right lower breast. I also waited for results for about 2 weeks and thought about life and death. It was not cancer, but mastalgia, increased estrogen level and solid fibroadenoma. My GP recommended me always to wear sports bras, take vitamin E and have regular checks because of family history of breast cancer. I also started with primrose oil that is very good for breast pain related to menstrual cycle.
