I went to the doctor and had my pap smear done and had a ultrasound done and found out my right fallopian tube has fluid around it and looks inflammed. I have 2 kids one 15, and 7 years old. The first one I had to have an emergency c-section after being in labor for 22 hours and the second child I had naturally. After giving birth the my 2nd one I had my tubes tided. I am going to have laparoscopy, D & C and hysteroscopy next week. I am concerned and want to know what this could be. What I have read on internet is not me I rarely have periods once in a while and I have been married for 9 years and I have been faithful, him too. and I have never had a sexually transmitted disease. Help me with some answers.

A laparoscopic exam revealed an inflamed fallopian tube. I am 77 year old. Do I need surgery or are there other treatments?
