Im only 13 years old, but my heart lately has been giving me the worst pains in the world, stabbing none stop. I was diagnosed with a heart murmur when i was born, but i got cleared about 1 year ago. I've been to the hospital about this pain, and he sent me for an ECG, the results came back as normal. More recently, i have been less stressed with my life, but its been getting worse, i live an active life i dance 5 times a week trampoline 2 times a week and run once a week, and when i have time i like to go to the gym, i don't eat alot as i am conscious about my weight. but im scared my heart pains will get in the way of all of my usual life patterns. I have a feeling it may have something to do with that i took an overdose a year ago, do you think this may have anything to do with it?

Do you have any ways i might be able to control this?
Hope you can help x

I don't know what is causing your chest pain. If you have inflammation of your rib cartilage (costochondritis), anti-inflammatory med such as aspirin may be helpful. Mild chest exercises such as pushups may also help.
