Unfortunately I believe that hoseclamps has a good point and that your husband has infection. Since you had one and you had sex with him while you were on the therapy he probably got infected and you are aware that he will have to see a doctor.
I believe that you have been warned by your doctor not to practice unprotected sex but since the damage is already done get your husband to the doctor as soon as possible. he will be treated same as you with the antibiotics and he will be recommended not to have sex until the therapy is over. So try to avoid risky behavior and increase intake of water and vitamin C into your diet.
