Hello , I have the same problem . I had the IUD since 2008. few month after I put the IUD i became ny first UTI ( e-colli). I have 2 times high temperature , pain and after the antibiotic it was ok. Last few years the UTI was more and more and I went to privat urologist . He sad me that maybe my IUD make this problems. I change my IUD after 5 years but I had the same problem during my first anf my second iUD. I put my IUD out befor 2 weeks and I hope that I will be health now. All my UTI came after sex but I needed a lot of years to supose that sex and my e colli infektion are in connection.I search on inernet but I did not found any site abut this until now. I will ler you know after few months are mine UTI gone
