One possible explanation is what Eckhart Tolle gives with the pain body. It is past pain accumulated in the body that is activated in challenging/difficult situations.

I am so amazed to come across this post! Its the first time I've come across some-one who had the same thing happen as me, only mine happened 6 years ago and no-one would accept that it could be connected to the root canal I had just had done that went wrong! I just searched for all over burning as that has been my nightmare symptom for the last 6 years ever since I had a root canal that went wrong (he slipped with the file and I nearly hit the roof with the pain he said it had gone slightly thro the root. For months following I had incredible aches and pains in all my joints and I eventually decided to have the root canal tooth removed as this is when it had all started, unfortunately after a tough hour having it removed with sttches etc.,I almost immediately started with a fever and incredible facial/jaw pain, at the same time ringing in my ear & then heart racing which went on for weeks, my puzzled doctor put me on beta blockers & I had a variety of antibiotics over this time, I was admitted to hospital eventually where they didnt link the problem and merely monitored the heart racing, informing there was no actual fault on the heart and I had tachacardia. On from this the most frightening symptom which has stayed with me ever since was the start of burning like I was being set alight over my scalp, back of my neck and down my spine. I was given lyrica by a doctor which saved my life as it was so unbearable, it took 2 days & it reduced the pain to similar to bad sunburn. The scalding is now no longer restricted to my spine and head but is all over. my neurologist just now thinks my central nervous system has gone haywire but no-one has ever connected it to the root canal that was the start of all of this. I live an existence now as a shadow of my former self relying on nerve pain killers as well as constant tiredness memory problems etc., any insight would be appreciated. I have almost given up at this stage trying to find out what has happened to me after years of trying.

What Kind Of Antibiotic Did The Doc Prescribe 2 U?

Hi piya, I remember havng several courses of different antibiotics at one point I counted seven courses I had had over the period,

i have had same thing for 12 months not got answer yet ,except for maybe gallbladder or food allergy xx

I have some of these same symptoms. I found a naturopath and integrative medicine doctor. I have been diagnosed with Mold Biotoxin illness - you can get yourself tested for the HLA gene mutation. This clues in whether you're extra susceptible or not. Anyway, it can cause all sorts of neurological symptoms. You could also look into chronic lyme as a diagnosis. Hope this helps!
