First of all, I want to explain what RDA is. It is short of recommended daily allowance. It means that RDA is average daily dietary intake that is sufficient to meet the needs of healthy individuals. Niacin is important for cell respiration, helps in the release of energy and metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, functioning of the nervous system. Male 18 mg per day and female 13 mg per day, you must know that this dosage is the minimum that you require per day. Large doses can be toxicity and can produce hyperuricemia, and hepatic abnormalities.
