Your nose seems to have non allergic (also known as vasomotor) rhinitis. He is therefore a highly irritable fellow. You didn't speak about how he endures high temperatures, perfumes, cigarette smoke. I don't believe he is hardnosed in these circumstances. Since he is not allergic, it is harder to cure him. You ought to be more careful with him. For example, when you visit a chemical factory or a similar place overcrowded with environmental irritants, you should leave him at home. Give him a salt water spray shower every day; feed him with antihistamines or pseudo-ephedrine.
