I have recently started having an extremely hard time peeing. No pain is associated, but i stand in front of the toilet for a period of time from 2 minutes to 7-8 minutes trying..straining. Like i said, no pain. And then theres the issue of ejaculation. I've had sex with my spouse..and theres no problem with the erection part, but ejaculation just isnt going to happen. It doesnt hurt either, and i've actually tried masturbating just to see for myself if i could..no luck there either. (it was really late, and i actually fell asleep trying to). Anyone heard of this/had this problem?

Well, I've had HER fall asleeep while she was trying to get me off... but not me!

Suggestion: When you want to urinate, don't stand in front of the toilet.
Lower the seat ,spread your legs and sit down. Then relax. I always find that's lots easier to void.

You don't mention your age or how long you've been married, or how long these delays have been plaguing you, but it sounds like this could be something that your doctor should be taking a look at. Have you been checked for diabetes?

At age 52, my urine stream is sometimes harder to start, particular after climaxing during sex, but never impossible.

Are you taking any antidepressants? I was on one and the sex was great for about an hour or so, but I am not as young as I used to be and I was getting tired. Needless to say I changed meds. The problem was gone.
