Hi!
I had Novasure performed on January 4/10, exactly one week ago. Other than mild symptom (bloating, dicomfort, minimal d/c, backache) I feel generally good, even went back to work today. What else should I expect in the upcoming weeks? I have no medical problems other than the heavy, painful, long periods. I'm thinking that because I've had very little d/c it might not have been successful? Don't you typically have to shed the lining in the days following the procedure? I had my last period from December 25-December 30, actually the shortest, least painful I've had in a very long time, go figure! Any body else that has had this procedure done with no underlying conditions (fibroids, cysts, endometriosis) please let me know your long term outcome. THANKS LADIES!

Well it's 9 weeks post op and I feel great! I've lost the 15 pounds that I had gained over the last year, thinking mostly water weight due to being on my period constantly. I have my energy level back, I'm into my regular exercise routine again FINALLY! AND.....I haven't had a period in over 10 weeks! WHOO HOO! If this is what I can expect for the rest of it, I'd recommend this to everyone! I have to see the gyno the first week in April, so I will wait and see if what he says about the long-term prognosis, but I'm happy in the meantime! [/enc]
