I had a bilateral endartectomy, the sendcond surgery a year ago in May. After the first surgery, I suffred a couple of small strokes before the second surgery. A week after the stroke, I noticed a numb left arm. I can use this arm and my hand, but not as efficiently as I did. No one seems to pay much attention to this condition, but it makes me feel lopsided. What could be causing this and is there any treatment ? I am ambulatory, but balance is not as good as it should be, and I need a left hip replacement. My health has prevented hip replacement surgery. This is bad because I cannot walk very far before needing to sit and rest my hip and back. Right now I'm depressed about this because I cannot walk or exercise much at all.
